Switch guide for Trainers

Coming from Trainerize?

What you can take with you, the steps to get it out, and where it goes in Brevard NEXT.

What you get

Trainerize gives you a spreadsheet (CSV) of your clients: first name, last name, email, phone and trainer.

The steps in Trainerize

  1. Sign in to Trainerize on the web.
  2. Open Clients and select the clients you want (or all of them).
  3. Choose Export. Trainerize gives you the CSV.

Buttons move. If one is not where we say, follow Trainerize's own help page below.

What stays behind

Trainerize does not let a trainer export clients' workout history (it says this is for privacy). Programs print to PDF only. If a client wants their lifts, they log them again or bring them from another app they used, such as Strong or Hevy.

Trainerize's own help

Then, in Brevard NEXT

  1. Make your free Brevard NEXT account, then start a Group for your clients.
  2. Turn on the Personal Training Suite on your Group. You get the Trainer title and badge, and your Group shows up in Find a group on Explore.
  3. Send your clients your Group's invite link (Group settings). Keep the client file from your old app; you will want it for names and emails.
  4. Each client brings their own history from Settings, Import from another app: lifts from Strong, Hevy, Fitbod or JEFIT, food from MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, Lose It! or MacroFactor.
  5. Print your Group's check-in poster for the park or the gym. Clients scan it to check in.

Your clients choose what you see about them, one switch at a time, and can turn it off whenever they like.
